techendeavors/app-path is a new Laravel-friendly composer package that finds a requested application on the servers filesystem and returns the path.

This is very useful for people developing web applications that require command line utilities. Now you can auto-configure the application rather than require users to put in the applications path.

Techendeavors is a cooperative startup studio. To understand what we are, you should first learn what the definition of a startup studio is.

A startup studio, also known as a startup factory, or a startup foundry, or a venture builder, is a studio-like company that aims at building several companies in succession. This style of business building is referred to as "parallel entrepreneurship".

To understand our values, you should understand the definition of what a cooperative is.

A cooperative (co-op) is a democratic business or organization equally owned and controlled by a group of people. Whether the members are the customers, employees, or residents, they have an equal say in what the business does and a share in the profits.

In practice, we're a group of individuals with different specialties that come together to build and operate small companies.

In order to build and operate companies in parallel, we've come up with a standard development process and toolkits. We focus on automating company operations and centralizing non-automated practices such as customer service.

The purpose of being a cooperative is to ensure that our successful businesses benefit all of the cooperative members, even if they aren't involved directly in that specific business.

The most important reason to operate as a cooperative is that it allows our businesses to be driven by values not just profit. Putting fairness and equality for our members at the heart of the enterprise allows us to build a sustainable enterprise that will generate long-term jobs and prosperity.
